Merritt graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in 1985.

 

• Ivy League Sportsman of the Year for all sports 1983

• Played #1 Singles and Doubles on Men’s Tennis Team from 1981-1985

• Inducted into Cornell University’s Hall of Fame for Men’s Tennis – 2010

• Active member of the Off Campus Recruiting Team – interviewing high school seniors desiring to attend Cornell – past 20 years

• Member of Cornell Society of Hotelman since 1985
